Hello Dearies, I hope all had a blessed Solstice. We gathered this year at my house for crafts and a play and a pot luck.  We had Lisa Lynn playing on the cd player and crafted our damsel hats, with glittler and fairy dust and much laughter.

We then took a break for rotel and chips, and then crafted little bags to be filled with different herbs and our sorrows, regrets, and pains of life. We crafted these for ritual, we were to burn these up in ritual and all our negitivity would be carried away as the smoke rose above us. (as they burned during ritual they made the sweetest incense)

We then had our play, which I attempted to write, but with the help of great actresses it came off without a blunder and we enjoyed every word.

I suppose we are easily amused.

We had a lovely ritual down in the yard, Jo wrote it and we all had parts. We had a beautiful bouquet from the yard of black eyed susans just right as they looked like little sunbursts. Our ritual complete, we retreated to the A/C and the kitchen table to feast on the smoked chickens Bill had done for us and the other delish dishes the gals brought. We had such a great time and are already planning our next gathering in July. Wish you could have been there.

I know we're crazy but that's what makes it fun.
