For Amber
and her critters
Web Worries
I had a little spider, who lived out in the hall
He never hust a single soul, for he was very small
High upon the ceiling, was where his web home hung
Where he'd await a buzzing bug, tasty to his tongue
Then one day my Mama said , we were having kin
To come and stay a day or two, and to do my spider in
I just couldn't do it, so I put him in the shed
I fed him flies and grasshoppers, cause I didn't want him dead
All the kinfolk finally left, so to the shed I trot
But my spider was already gone, and this was in his spot
My spider was a Mrs., and she left me a surprise
A sack of little spiders with tiny legs and eyes
Now Ma one spider understood, but more would be a sin
My spiders and me parted ways, all because of kin
So if a spider's on your wall and your kinfolk come to stay
Take that spider to the shed, and just have a happy day
Much Love Dearies
