My eyes slow to adjust in the dusk

Ever search those shadows of twilight

Await perchance a fleeting glance

Of the elusive night nymphs

The bogus movement at lawns edge

Tall grass and hedge row

Drews straining eyes to seek their vision

As the darkness gulps and swallows into night

Fire flies flash amorous code and signal

Interperters to make rendezvous

As the dragons misty breath

Creeps in from the wood

 A cool calmness surrounds

This watcher of the realm

And though no vision appears

All is well

Walmart Whine

I don't want to go to Walmart

Oh please, oh please don't make me go

Though the prices are redeeming

For the products that we know

But the space between departments

Seems to grow with every step

My cart is only half full

And I'm running out of pep

When our task at last completed

We got only what we need

At last I'm in the checkout

Thankful aching feet don't bleed

I don't want to go to Walmart

But comes a time when  it's a fact

Each and every time I exit

I swear I'm never coming back

I stand before you today guilty

Of practicing a religion older than the stones themselves

You see only difference as we all are as night to day

In that you find what is not understood as evil

 A naked dance around a fire beneath a full moon

Blasphemy so say you

For celebrating the renewal of our earth guilty I am

For celebrate I will

Earth- Air -Fire and Water given to us, to you

Do you not celebrate these gifts

In a manner you have chosen, as do I

My path is not yor path, harm none

How many have suffered your lash? Harm none

As I have gathered herbs and berries from the forest

And blended them with blessings, you call me witch

Witch I am

You blinded by fear try my honor in this court

Why fear me so, naught to yours was evil done

Live and let live

Long after this day of condemnation for a celebration of love

I will live on in spirit

The old ways shall never be destroyed by fear baskers

Knowledge replaces that fear

Learn well

A time will come when all will live in peace

and be one with the world

First I light my incense

( Fan the incense toward the North)

Hail to the North, my Earth this day

As I gently walk my way

(Fan the incense toward the East)

Hail to the East, begin anew

Thought and deed to honor you

(Fan incense to the South)

Hail to the South, Passion's fire

Warm my heart with fond disire

(Fan incense to the West)

Hail to the West, waters edge

Stir my mind, guide your pledge

(Hold incense and turn three times)

Lord and Lady, fill my day

With light and love along the way

This I ask so humbly

Blessed Be

When walking my acres

Not wearing tail-gaters

And airing my derriere

The fain breezes blowing

Up my skirt to and fro-ing

No restrictions

Just free flowing air

Now to some this is dumb

But I wouldn't be glum

As your ne'er required to looose

Those garments residing

Your bottom you're hiding

You can or you can't

You can choose

But as for me

I'll be walking free

And no one knows

But my Aunties

Over river and creek

I stroll cheek to cheek

Cause' at home

I don't have to wear panties
